There are quite a few magicians in my country (India) perhaps in my city and they're glad if someone makes a visit as they are not treated as celebrities here.
So they are happy if you pay them a visit.

But they are (no offence) outdated now.
In same ol' brightly coloured clothes and eye makeup (hey doesn't Brad do that too) but their tricks have been around for 1000's of years and they need to evolve otherwise they would go extinct.

But nevertheless they are extremely good people at heart and very happy if you treat them as celebrities and show respect for their work.

Beautiful!!!

I think it can only be a good experience spending time performing with someone as experienced and well known as Houchin.

P.S. I accept bribes by way of Paypal, cheque or cash.

Remember the old Brummie method of getting 8 kids in to the cinema. One pays to go in and opens the fire exit at the back so the other 7 run in like the clappers and hide out of sight of the ushers! Er, not that I'd seriously suggest anything of the sort, you understand  .

Nah - the Piccadilly on Stratford Road in the late 1950s was easy peasy for this sort of thing! (So I'm told...) And before anyone asks, yes, they did have talkies and Technicolor when I went there!!
