Hello,
I’ve just joined Talkmagic and I notice that it’s recommended we tell folk about ourselves. Looking at some of the postings in this forum there appears to be a lot of youngsters joining. This is absolutely fine and more the merrier. Well I’m from the other end of the scale. I’ve had 36 years as a full time pro and, although well into expected retirement years, I’m pleased to say I’m still working with close-up engagements and children’s events.
I’ve never been a clever ‘finger-flinger’ but try always to be entertaining and a ‘nice fellow’. I hope to join in with contributions occasionally to some of the forums, with opinions from an old stager. That most likely will mean being a grumpy old man. I’ve had a lot of practice at this!
I also note that most folk adopt a ‘stage name’ for Talkmagic, so I have done the same. No reason for this as I don’t really mind folk knowing my true identity. Send me a £50.00 note and I will autograph it for you and return it. (If you are lucky).
