is the wax that you use on card on ceiling the same as the ordinary magicians wax you can buy, or do you need softer wax?

Please be a little more discrete in this section as not all of the people in it are magicians...

Have you tried ear wax? Ha HA!

not to sound rude Daniel, but last time i logged on to A magic supplier site, i couldnt help but notice how foward they were with showing gimmicks....um such as the folding coin etc. Will they be recieving an email from you?

i could under stand if i told every one how to do it. If you took a moment to think about the trick, its not so much how the card sticks to the ceiling, it's how the magician gets the chosen card from the middle to go through the rest of the cards, bands and then to stick to the ceiling.

no sorry i havent tried ear wax, but thanks for the tip :)

ha ha

I see your point,

If this magic supplier was going to show you how to do the tricks, I'm sure it would be easy to make alot of the props that they sell, taking business away from themselves... It's pretty much suicidal bankrupcy!!!

I wasn't intending on sounding rude in the post I sent just reminding you of your situation.

Cheers,

Dan

There is not alot of difference between wax's but look around and you will find stuff suited to particular jobs, the one i use is the basic one and is not soft.

P.s when dealing with wax you only need a very little blob, a) so as to preserve as much as possible and b) make it less obvious to the audience

Actually, there IS a lot of differences in waxes used, as they serve different purposes.

There are other more informative posts in the forum regarding Wax.

I suggest you have a look there.
