The examiner gave me a bit of a funny look when he'd handed me my certificate and I said "Hurrah, no more looking in my blindspot ever again!" but by that point it was too late for him to do anything. Hahahaha!

QUESTION: If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??
There was talk of changing it from 17 to 18, but I don't think that's happened yet; missing a year of new drivers would probably cost the DVLA too much.
I had a lot of fun taking my UK test after having driven in the US for years. My instructor told me to put my US licence on the dash to impress the examiner. My pedantic examiner asked me what the bit on the side of a motorway is called. I told him 'shoulder', he said 'no'. I pondered and pondered and finally gave up. He said, 'the hard shoulder.'
