Just invented the greatest trick ever

Postby XTTX » Nov 10th, '06, 08:58

Well, right now I'm using two decks. Now I just came up with a new magic trick today

Effect
The two decks of cards disappear from visible sight. The disappearance is so powerful even the magician himself has NO idea where the cards are.

Preparation
Whack yourself in the head so many times that you become absent minded.

Method
Just leave your cards somewhere and then try to find them later in the day.

Lol. Seriously, I've spent at least 20 min searching for these cards. I'm trying to learn some new shuffles and fans :X

Lol. I thought i was going to have to exclaim the words 'Sin Bin' but instead i'll say 'Good Luck' with finding them.

I performed a trick on my cousen, she then said that she had an awesome one to show me. Picked up the cards and throug tyhem all against the wlal, loosing loads down the back of my bros bed and wardrobe which is like nailed to the wall.

Eventually I got them. I'm sure you'll find yours :D

Thanks for the support lol. The funny thing is mine are still in the packs and I swore they were sitting right on the desk in front of me... These plastic cards are cutting up my fingers trying to figure out the one handed shuffle :/

I invent a trick very similar just yesterday.

I looked for my deck of various bike gaffs which I always keep in my close up case, it wasn't there. I then spent an hour searching my pad in every drawer, under beds, moving furniture and at least three times returning to my close up box to no avail.
Then this morning I checked my close up case one last time to find it in it's usual place. I'm jiggered if I know how that happened

Wow! I do the exact same things with coins! I might have lost over $40 in Canadian Dollars over the past year  .

Wooo I found them. They actually happened to be in the drawer where I have 12 other decks of cards... I checked that drawer 7+ times too. :? Is it magic :o

Reminds of of the time when I "lost" my watch.

Every time when I take a shower, I ALWAYS take off my watch and place it on my bed. Then when I'm done, I get dressed and put my watch back on (which is handily situated on the bed).

One particular time I came to putting my watch back on and it wasn't on the bed :? . I hunted high and low and eventually I found it in my coat pocket downstairs - I still, to this day, do not remember taking it off and putting it in my pocket lol

The mind boggles

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

XTTX:

Although I applaud your magical creativity (I have accidentially performed that effect many times throughout the years, but have never managed to work out a repeatable method), this is not an exposure site! You should not reveal the secrets to effects, even if they are of your own creation. :)

I've found my own way of doing this trick but from my own jacket pocket! It has something to do with destroying a deck everytime i perform, but likely the fact that im clumsy!

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...
