Hi All

Let me know what you think of my promo. Am thinking of redoing it so would like some feedback.

Cheers

Great magic and some excellent reactions!

Couple of things though:

Might be an idea to get some music in the background

I think more editing would be nice - perhaps more of an intro stating who you are, a website/contact details at the end would be good too if your expecting any business from it

As a promo I think it should be a little shorter and punchier if you want to catch peoples attention. Otherwise, if your sending it to people who are already interested, then the length is fine, as they are far more likely to sit and watch the whole thing through.

Just some thoughts,

A

You may want a 30 second version, with contact information like a television advert, at least for the first video potential clients see. You may also want to format the longer version like a television advert as well, the video looked like it was all from weddings (except perhaps the gentleman with the ribbon on his jacket). You may want to find short segments from the various types of venues at which you are willing to perform and include either naration or text stating the services you offer and the types of venues you are looking to work in. That will show your range and eliminate the "Do you do children's shows?" questions if you do not want to perforem for children. Your promo did not show children's shows but it will save you a lot unnecessary phone calls if you clearly state in your promotional material the types of performances that you do.

But, good work and the audience reactions are a very good selling point.

yeah maybe you could add some video effects into it ,for example after revealing the signed card of the spec.
The allready recorded video is great from the effects and the reactions aswell.
I wish you all the best for your demo ;)

greetings Jerry

I've watched this a few times before on your website and its fantastic.

Some really great reactions on there too, like the man's reaction to the crazy man's handcuffs is really nice "HOW DID YOU DO THAT!!"

Now release another DVD, so i can rush out and buy it.

You get some pretty sweet reactions! Your top change is also one of the best I've ever seen! I'm thinking about buying this DVD. I could learn something about presentation  .

A bit long for a promo vid, Should only be about 2mins max. Try just using the end of the routine so you can see thier reactions also put your contact information in there somewere. Oh and maybe some music.

Nice touch with the comments at the end.

Nice work. I like you're patter and tempo.

I'd edit it down and do some post production to get it into an quick and punchy promo, with contact info on the end.

You are really good, if I could steal watches like that I would be much richer.

I think the main selling point would be the specs comments, so try making that more of a main feature of the video, maybe?
