Does anyone know the easiest way to scan a DVD for errors under Windows XP?

I've go Nero 7 and I can't find any utility in it that seems like it would do the job? Thanks for the suggestion though.

I've got some old files backed up onto DVD-R and I want to be sure of the integrity of the backups before I get rid of the originals, which I need to do for space reasons.

I'd say keep the originals but you don't know whether the price might go up in the future.

I mean I wnated to delete the files off my hard-drive for space reasons. I just want to make sure I have good backups first.
I've found a tool that's part of Nero to do the job. Thanks.
