I am really thinking about buying this trick, but I have read only bad reviews and a few good one. Just wanted to know if anyone here has it, and could review it. I would be eternally greatfull.

i would say to heed the warnings my friend, if something has mostly bad reviews you will only fall into the same pool and prob dislike it too

Unfortunately, another negative post from me.

There's a funny thing happens when you buy this effect... which is, you say "Oh, is that it?". It's a bit of a let-down.

The only thing I found interesting was the Ambigrams section.

Basically, there is none of this 'spefcial system that allows you to fly to the moon' thing at all from what i've been told hundreds of times.

This trick is as disappointing as Flight 204..... seems great but once you get it it starts gathering dust immediately!! Don't bother!

I don't have it but based on what I know "tech" wise...this will either work on only the newer phones or you will have to have on of the newer phones.

Actually David, you're way off. It works with just about any mobile phone. And it really has nothing to do with anything technical, it's actually more simple than you'd believe.

In the demonstration video, the guy gets a text message stating his card.

If thats all it is, well thats a waste of money.

On david blaines special where this was supposedly performed, the guy gets a text message but it was from the card. Instead of just displaying the phone number it would say [for example] the 2 Of Diamonds texted him.

Interesting... I might just waste the $30 anyways and see if this is all cracked up to be. Worst case scenario, I'll be out 30 bucks, but at least I could do a review of the trick.

I think with some things like this you have to be a bit foolish and get it and then kick yourself for wasting the money and then learning from your mistake and never doing it again!

I could have sworn I added some comments a few months ago or so on it.

I would recommend against it. but to each it's own.

If you sit down and actually think about the effect(s) you could do with texting or calling a cell phone.. it really isn't too hard to come up with a few ways (IMO) better than this method and result in a stonger effect.
