I have recently bought a card magic trick which refers to Trevor Lewis' Monte Move. Can anyone explian what this move is?

It surprises me that the trick just refers to the move without giving specific details. What was the name of the trick?

I am not sure exactly what the move is, although I will review my Daryl does the full monte DVD and see if it is mentioned on that, but there is a book. "Trevor Lewis ESOLC (Thats's close up)" that has a whole chapter on some of his monte moves.

So it seems ambiguous as to which one is THE Trevor Lewis Monte move.

Details of the book can be found here, so I guess that would be a good place to start looking.

The Trevor Lewis Monte move is not outlined as such in the ESOLC book, although there are Monte moves in there.

It's a gorgeous utility move, useful for much more than just the Monte...

The move you are referring to is used in a few sandwich effects.
