In all honesty and seriousness, without trying to make you feel bad, this IS exposure. You gave the entire effect away and I would highly appreciate you take this video down and PM me or someone else for a bit of advice on your handling and make a new video. I am sorry I have to be the one to tell you this, but even a layman could follow every move you did

as said above, the switch needs alot of work, also work on the presentation of the actual bend and make that more convincing.

Keep working on it and you'll get there. 99% of magic is in the presentation.

you did give it away a bit. I would not do a coin bend this way as it is just not magical, just a test of strenth.

Of course it can be signed. Literally, all hes doing is bending a coin. Thats what superman and the boa both do.

i actually thought i was very good and don't think it was a switch as can be done with one coin which can be signed, but i used to have this effect and found it hard to do. coin sizes and all :wink:

It looks like an obvious switch, to me at any rate, and the effort seems to be being applied to a pre-bent coin. Having said that, Derren Brown's new book has a really good section on deconstructing a coin trick, whose ideas you could use to build a completely killer effect out of what you've got so far.

Well, if he did switch then maybe he can't do the trick properly. You are meant to use one coin, it can be signed and you bend that coin and hand it back.

ive been thinking about this coin bend effect all day and still think an unsigned coin would be better because you only have to carry a simple gimmick also a little sleight og hand. the best magic is the simple stuff and you dress it up to look amazing. still bending a coin in the first case is tricky unless you have the tools :roll:
