Currently it's this: I fan the shuffled deck, then ask the spectator to use her intuition to guide her to an area of the deck she feels contains her card, and ask her to pull out a few cards. I then ask her to look through them. Her card isn't there. Then I do the same, pulling about five cards from another area of the fan. I place these in a packet on the table and ask her to take a specific one, but insist that she doesn't show anyone it's face just yet. It's her card, which I also name before she shows it.

at the moment it's 3 methods for me,

1. either forcing it in the first place, or catching a glimpse of it by a sneakly glide as we talk, put the pack down...

then reveal it by asking her to hold the top of my pencil (thats not a euphemism) as i start to draw it...

though i have started to muscle read the card properly now im more confident in what i've learnt...

2. side steal it away, ask her to go through the deck then place it under a wine glass or whatever is handy whilst she's looking through...

3. laying 3 cards out and asking her to say "yes" to all of them
