Scary man he is. Was asking his advice on card books in the shop and he pointed a book for me to get off the shelf, in the process of doing so taking out various flyer display holders on the table below. If looks could kill...... gave me some good advice though, the miserable awd git.

There is also Davenport's in Charing Cross. Probably a bit expensive, but they're very friendly.

I feel that with davenports you are buying the name as things are quite expensive there

really nice guys in davenports though, i really like it, pretty convenient to get to aswell if you have no car.

Some years ago I met Jerry at the International Magic Studio and he was very civil. Not overly friendly, but very polite. Mind you, I didn't make him fight with the window display. :)

I still miss Alan Alan's Magic Spot, though. :( Now that was a great magic shop.
