I am returning to magic after a 20 year absence. Though I have done some "tricks" all the time I hope to enter with a more fun seeking attitude. Hope to learn alot about the entertainment part of magic this time around ( more than just tricks ). Welcome any advice and constructive criticism, especially since I am entering mentalism, a more minimalist form of magic. :D :lol:

I live in BIrmingham, Alabama, USA
I am a highschool math teacher
been doing magic off and on since I was 9 or 10 years old ( I'm now 48)
Trying to get back into it seriously since my 11 year old daughter find my magic trunk at my mom's house
Taking a more serious look at "entertaining" friends and family more than "just doing tricks" and "pick a card"
I'll be doing more listening and absorbing than talking and posting
