well, this is no doubt a not very interesting post - but i thought i'd inflict it on you lot anyway...

i got invited to wine-tasting last night - never been to one before...

it was...interesting to say the least...

ok, i did get slightly tipsy, but thats to be expected really, rude not to really...however..i did get up to some mischeif too...

i did some on the spot muscle reading, selecting people's favourite wine from three glasses, with some brief character reading built in as to why they picked that wine...some predictions of people's scores for various wines...and some fun stuff with business cards (acidus novus i thank you)...

a couple of the producers there (of wine) gave me their cards and said they'll send me some invites for the next two they're at...so that was jolly nice of them...

and i read the palm of a lady who used to work at the spearmint rhino (strip-club)...

the downside was that some of the people there are incredibly rude! no thank-you's to the people who offer them tastes of their produce, nor an excuse me if they wish to get past...

beautiful building too...some 15th century tapestries on the wall and some fantastic oil portraits..absolutely no idea were i was mind you - but it was alot of fun... :D

felt a little out of place at first i must admit, but soon settled down after some tasting...

Tomorrow's Rumpole of the Bailey on ITV3 is "Rumpole and the Blind Tasting". If I remember, it concerns someone being given all the right cues to believe that she's tasting a decent plonk which subsequently goes missing. Genius idea, but maybe an unexplored basis for an interesting effect too?
