Hi psilo,

A big welcome to TalkMagic. Please don't be put off because you are based in Canada as although mainly we are from the UK here, we do have many overseas members, and besides magic talk is a truly universal language, and we'd love to here what you have to say.

I would say also, that most items and effects seem to be available in both continents, but I've found that when I do need to order magic from abroad (mainly America) I've always had great and speedy service, and so I have no reason to believe that if you ordered from the UK you would get the same. The wonders of the interenet really is making the world into a much smaller place.

Whereabouts in Canada are you from?

:)

hi psilo hope you enjoy your time here in the UK's friendliest forum

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

Nice to see you :)

There a more than a few users here that aren't in the UK so hang around :)
The only thing you will notice is that most of the links are to UK sites but armed with google and knowing the name you will be fine :)

Enjoy your stay,
BaB

And a warm welcome from me as well!

A lot of the routines and effects we hear about are either of US origin or use US props - Bicycle cards for instance - so you probably have more local distributors offering pretty much the same as we get. UK routines with currency notes & coins might be a tad awkward but some might translate OK!

As Bananafish said, the UK on line Magic stores offer a great service and they certainly supply overseas. If you see something you like but aren't sure if it will work in your part of the word, just post a question here and, if one of us has the routine, we can give some more information. We all look forward to your posts and comments!

Oh yes - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
