New to magic, full of enthusiasm, looking for guidance!

Hi Everyone,

For a long while now, I'v been fascinated by the craft of magic. I am a salesperson by trade, and I have recently been thrown head first into walking around a large call centre and (trying) to engage and capture the attention of the operatives to get them motivated to sell my products and at the least remember me!

I have recently purchased Paul Zenons street magic book and have taught myself a cople of card tricks using key cards and sleights such as double lifts and tilts.
I haven't overloaded myself but have chosen instead to learn a few tricks and learn them and the patter really well.

I was looking fo advice from anyone who may be able to help. Does anyone else have similar experience? Should I bee looking for a routine, or could I repeat the same selection of tricks over and over?

Any advice you can offer would be gratefully received!

In the meantime, I'll keep practicing!

Regards,

TubbyC!

Welcome to TM. The only advice i can give is start simple. You don't choose what style of magic you prefer it chooses you. It just takes time

Hope you enjoy your stay

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
