I have seen this performed and was very impressed with the idea. I am great friends with Steve Gore as we are in the Bradford magic circle together. Steve does another amazing trick called T.R.A.N.S.P.O.R.T which would be great if you bought it.
I would always recomend Steves tricks

T.R.A.N.S.P.O.R.T.
(The Revolutionary And New Sliding Piece Of Rope Trick)
By Steve Gore

Two pieces of white rope are displayed and tied together. A piece of blue rope is then displayed. One end of each piece of rope is placed under each foot, with the opposite ends held together to form a triangle.( this forms an upside down V if your confused)
The magician then slides the knot up and down the white rope and then across onto the blue rope. the white rope is discarded as the blue rope is displayed with a white knot in the middle. The revolutionary finish is that the white knot that is in the centre of the blue rope is untied, leaving two pieces of blue rope with white ends.

The great mystery is......How do you untie a sliding knot!

You can buy this direct from Steve in either Blue or pink rope.
so that i dont break advertising rules, if you want to get this from Steve then PM me. Dont forget to mention Mark Waddington when ordering, you may just get a discount!

Hope that helps

Although it would attack you credit card, the simplicity and idea is worth £12.95 alone!

Thanks for the reassurance! She Who Must be Obeyed has been nagging me for months to get some new specs - apparently the Aviator look as per Top Gun and CHiPs is no longer fashionable. At least I can show her I got a new case!

I've been practising excuses all afternoon and even I don't believe me! Oh well, it'll be worth it just to work that routine for a couple of people I know who would just love it! Yahooooo!!

Just got this today and have to agree with Tom's review - it's a fantastic principle and very ingenious indeed, so much so that the gimmick is almost examinable.

I would probably recommend buying a very cheap pair of glasses (maybe punching out the lenses for safety/comedy's sake) and including those in the case as an extra bit of "business". You can then maybe go into a Loops routine with the specs.

My favourite trick so far this year!!! :)
