Coin Matrix

Coin Matrix

Effect: Four coins are placed on the table, and your hands will cover two coins. One coin will pass to the other hand, and keep this up until all four coins are back together in a pile again under your hand.

What I need Help with:
Obviously if anyone knows how this trick is preformed, you should also know that I can’t ask to many questions without giving away the trick. It just so happens that the question I have would give away the trick entirely.

I am curious if someone could PM me, and help me out with the routine to help me make it look more natural.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Will be waiting for PM’s

There are quite a few different coin matrix effects out there, so I think you may have to be a little more specific and give the full name of the effect, or it may prove difficult for anyone to offer their help.

it is david roth's coin matrix. Although I beleive that he calls it something else.

here is setup

x= coin

Stage One:

x x

x x

Stage Two:

x

x xx

Stage Three:

x

xx x

Stage Four:

xx

x x

Stage Five:

xxx

x

Stage Six:

xxxx

That is how the coins transfer. This is not the Coin matrix using cards, but your hands.

let me post a link to what it looks like so you can view.

Do you actually own the effect as I'm sure there will be instrucitons that explain.

EDIT: After watching the video, you clearly havn't actually bought the effect so you ened to go and buy Shade By Daniel Garcia. Thats what you're looking for.

No I have bought the effect actually.

I know most people will try to come here to swindle tricks from people, but I have been practicing magic for a while now and don’t try to social engineer information out of people.

As I stated above it is difficult for me to ask the question I am desiring to ask because it will give away how to do the trick.

I know full well how to do the trick. It is just the ending to the trick that I have a question about. I am looking for someone who has experience with this effect to talk to because I think I might have thought about a better ending to the trick, and wanted to discuss it with someone.

Or should I say I think I have found a more natural looking way to perform the trick.

I am sorry if I come off a bit rude, but I don’t like someone saying I haven’t done something when I have. I am not a beggar, and have spend a great deal of money on my hobby in my life time, and have never yet asked someone to tell me how something is done. I learn it for my self.

But again I have an idea that I would like to discuss with someone that may be a little more advanced than me to get their opinion on if they think something would work good or not.

I apologise then. Can you give me a link to where this effect can be purchased? Also, is this the exact same effect that Criss performs?
I read somewhere a while back that that was a sort of variation of Garicas 'Sh4de'.

I bought this trick at a local magic shop in my hometown.

I actually purchased it from a book that was about $80.

The book was all of David Roth's greatest tricks.

The trick that Criss preformed is the closest video I can find to how it appears in David's book.

lol. What he did is something like what my idea is.

I don't know if he preforms it the same way or not, but it is very similar to what I wanted to do.

I just bought the re-print of the book

David Roth

Expert Coin Magic

It has a large ammount of coin tricks.

Very good read, I would recommend it to anyone.

There are also a few DVD's that you can get that has some of his stuff. I will try to find them again and give you titles.

How about using a coin dropper to create a similar 'explosion' effect?
