Hello

Hello,

After reading these forums for months now and enjoying it very much, I love how everyone seems to help each other and show a lot of respect so I decided to finally join in.

I'm John AKA Recluse

I've gotten out of the gaming world and decided to return to my old love, magic! I've been doing simple tricks for years, but never had the resources to learn anything advanced until I found this site and ellusionist.

Ive been going at it hard for about 1 month so far and Ive learned things such as NFW, Erdnase count, Shapeshifter, Ultimate Aces, Invisible palm (although I'm having a lot of trouble with this), ID and a few more using D/L's. So far Ive learned all these by watching videos OVER and OVER driving myself insane. Right now Im learning Jumping Gemini because It was one of the tricks that inspired me to get started again after seeing it on youtube.

Now I think im ready to get some good DVDs and start some real fun!

See you all around

Recluse, from one newbie to another, hello!

Invisible palm is a great trick, one that I often use to great effect. Keep working on it and you'll get there.

Are you using an old deck? I find it very hard to do with and old tattered deck, much easier with a nice crisp new deck.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
