Are you actually Dynamo? As in the Dynamo :D

Welcome to the talk magic forums!

[A quick question, you know your 50p trick where you palce two on someones Tshirt and pull one thorugh, where can this be found? Can it be obught anywhere?]

EDIT: :o I've just watched your video of the Masters time machine as well, no offence but isn't that sort of exposing the trick to everyone? Maybe its just an easier sort of handling of the trick :)

I saw you register a few days ago and wondered if it was someone just squatting the username.

Clearly not.

Good to see you. How's it going?

Hello Dynamo from Bradford and welcome to TM!
I saw you perform in Shaw Theatre a week ago, I enjoyed your performance and I predicted you would get the 3rd place in the CloseUp Competition. I was right :)
Why didn't you show up on Sunday to receive the trophy and the cash price?
Best greetings from Iceland!

Hi guys just wanted to reply to your questions..bit new to the whole forum thing so bear with me.

Delude.. bob swadling supplied the coin through tee.. although he uses a handkerchief instead of a t shirt , it was my idea to use the t shirt as i found it more common as the people i perform for don't really carry handkerchiefs..plus i think you have more control (angles etc ) over the spectator when you use the t shirt. Glad you liked it.

I kinda agree and disagree with you on the time machine... firstly i think that if you perform the effect once youve established some credibility with your spectators and have them believing you a God( lol ) then they never question the use of a gimmick. i usually perform the effect as my last trick to a group when doing walkaround and finish on the line thanks for your time...it normally gets a great reaction... but obviously what works for me may not work for everyone else. so i can see why magicians may not like my handling for time machine..but i think also as magicians we forget that most laymen have never seen a gimmick watch etc etc other than in james bond films and in those films we are led to believe that it is all fictional and make believe.

thanks for the support and buying my dvd delude its much appreciated.

The reason i was not able to pick up my trophy on the sunday at the convention was because i did a show in somerset on saturday night and did not get back to london in time...(also i never really expected to get placed or anything! )

Those of you who saw the act...just wondered what you thought of my colour changing laces... i will try put a video clip on the forum for those of you who haven't seen it you can actually see it on my myspace page www.myspace.com/dynamodynamo . i was thinking of releasing it on a dvd but wanted to see what magicians thought of it ...anyways if ya get a chance check it out....laters Dynamo

No offence Dynamo [again, lol] but i thought before [I hadn't seen ,mnay of your tricks] you would be a bit too 'Innit' for my liking but after seeing quite a few of your videos I'm liking your magic style even more :D

Also, where can the 50p trick be bought? I ran a search but don't know the name of it :?

I havn't actually purchased the DVD yet but will soon, don't worry!

I think that "pimping your shoes" was cool. It was funny as you precented it and it got a good round of applause. You should be happy :)

Saw you C4 special, very good. Always a joy to see magic on the tv.
Will be purchasing your DVD soon. Have you been on any other shows?
I'm sure I've seen you on some magic show on a digital channel?

To answer your question yes, I liked your colour changing laces, quick & direct.
Also watching some of the more traditional audience members expressions as you pattered about 'pimp my ride' was one of the highlights of the weekend!
