It's basic and filled with things that you will most probably not use in the real world. There are far better ways of spending your money if you're a beginner.

Look at the stickies as there's one on this very subject as I recall.

Finally, just concentrate on learning the basics to start with and forget about whether it's street or close up etc. As you learn you will find your own natural style.

I'm sorry to disapoint you but it does NOT come with a levitation effect. I have the title myself.

You will need to spend more money on some of the things tha tyou need such as sponge balls, IT, cards etc.

Gift 1:
Special Report:"10 Secret, Killer Techniques to Make the Balducci Levitation Perfect"
(YES... the authentic Balducci Levitation technique is also included in this package, taught by Brad Christian. This report is extremely effective. The technique that is sold in magic shops everywhere for $20.00 - is included in the Street Package FREE.)

Gift 2:
Step by step download video instructions for the incredible Throw Vanish. This trick is brand new on our site and sells for $12.95. (Brad recently performed this standing in line in the POST OFFICE... someone was complaining about their credit card and he just picked it up, threw it into mid air and it vanished - the Post Office clerk freaked! Then Brad pulled it BACK from thin air and returned it)....it's yours FREE, today, for ordering the Street Package.

(.... no gimmicks used... any card of ANY kind is thrown out into the air and vanishes, point blank. This is Street Magic at its absolute finest.)

Gift 3:
The new, hot from filming download video instructions for the incredible Spin Change.
(A card is rotated by its corners and WHILE ROTATING changes into a different card. We've never seen so much talk on the Internet about one trick and how it might be done - than this. After we came out with the video for it EVERY magic chat room was buzzing about it). Warning: it takes practice... no gimmicks are used.

Gift 4:
Download VIDEO instructions for the beautiful 'classic' color change. Beginners will find this much easier than the spin change.... and almost as effective. A pure sleight of hand move to change one card into another - visibly. Brad Christian uses this constantly in his card magic. Again, this will be downloadable from the ellusionist® site.

Gift 5: (gift 5 is a very limited promotion - if you see it ON this page at the time of ordering you will receive it in it's written format only.)
The King Rising® - a new levitation - exclusive. We obtained permission from the author to teach you this exclusive, rare method of performing the self-levitation -- NOT the Balducci, NOT Zero Gravity. This levitation is unavailable anywhere but through ellusionist®. This is the levitation you see Brad perform in the new national TV commercials. If you haven't seen it, check out the footage just below...

"I just got the bonus pack for the Street Magic Video. The new King levitation works so good that my friend (another magician) threatened to beat me up if I didn't tell him. HE WAS SO IMPRESSED

Read gift 5 it says kings rising levitation free. so they are lying? cant we do something about it?

i heard rumours that the king rising levitation is rubbish. i happened to look at this effect and decided against it. if you want a levitation trick you should check out andrew maynes book called touching sky. i think thats whats it called but you can check it out on his website.
also try disjointed, its a good effect!! an arm twist with a difference. :)

Its not too practical and looks awkward..

the setup would not work for me in the real world.. unless your audience is stoned.. lol

It can look neat but its fiddly to set up and clean up.. its also WAY more angle sensetive than even the balducci!!

I'm sorry but I would like to contribute to the conversation but first I need to ask a question. When you say street magic are you talking about busking or doing magic on the street for no money ala David Blaine or Chris Angel?

If the later is what you desire I would venture to guess that anything the public gets for free is appreciated.

If you plan to make money from your work then neither a DVD or book will give you what you need to succeed.

Actually performing is what makes a busker capable of making hundreds of dollars.

Card tricks and most other complicated slight of hand should be avoided.

Stick with the adage of K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid. Remember your performing for the lay public not magicians. All they care about is the effect and it's presentation not how you do it.

When I worked the streets I would gather a crowd with a boom box and a torch to cane . The music would be that of the circus type.

After I brought them in with the above trick I would do a routine with a silk a TT and the brassiere trick. Then sponge balls and I would end with cut and restored rope , linking rings or my own version of the razor blade trick.

Years later I substituted the torch to cane for the torn and restored news paper which allowed the audience to examine and tear the paper in their hands. {someday I may put this on DVD or in a e-book but not till exposer sites are shut down.}

So get out there and work as that is the best advice I can give anybody wanting to do street magic.

Hope that helps.

Although your input was very helpful Airamas, he's asking for a review on a street magic "kit". As for me i tend to stay away from all magic sets, mainly due to the fact that if i gfet lucky, i may use 2 out of 10 tricks that come with the set ever, in comparison to the 9 out of 10 when i by tricks individually.

Sam :)

As I don't look at the Ellusionist site too frequently, I wasn't aware that there is what you say to be a promotion running at the moment.

On the actual Street Magic DVD itself, there isn't a levitation which I assumed was what you were asking. As you have now indicated, you say that it comes as a free gift which I didn't know about when answering.

As for levitations, there are a number of reviews on the forum if you use the search. Why everyone seems to want to do a levitation is beyond me.... There are just better things to spend your money on in my opinion.
