QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I have the folding coin. It is not examinable at all. but a quick coin switch could solve that problem.

I may be naive....but are there actually any versions that are examinable without the switch?!?!?

I wouldn't assume so, but the tone of the statement made me wonder if I was not aware of something that is on the market......The version I have is in US currency, and is definitely not examinable...not sure how they could ever make one that was!

Maybe a small stick of metal which the fold has to be lifted over before and can go round would solve the problem for a quick examination? Just a thought :) It would proably be just easy easy doing a quick switch as Bodacious said though

I think that the principle of the folding coin makes them impossible to hand out for examination.

I'd always recommend a switch.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

I find that this effect, especially the "bitten coin" trick often elicits the response of "ere, lemme 'ave a look at that!" so in those instances a switch is completely vital.
I do like to do this to people and walk off quickly, leaving them with a stunned response. (This is in normal life, not performance) Then when they ask me about it later I tell they must have imagined it!

I don't think it's possible to make an examinable version, it would be superb if there was one, but a switch is easy enough to perform.

I guess that answers my question.......I was thinking the same way, and have always done a switch, but with the original question at the top, I got to wondering if there actually was a version that could be inspected.....didn't think so, not totally neccessary - switching works well, but was only curious
