Postby Figo » Dec 9th, '06, 12:29

hey

I'm having a bit of trouble with the needle through arm trick, in that i can't seem to succesfully do the first part of the trick, every time i lower my arm the needle falls to the floor as the skin doesn't do what it's supposed to.

i don't know if I'm using the RC wrong

if any one could help i can pm u for more info on whats going wrong

cheers

Are you always using the same RC?

From your description it sounds like something is getting unstuck. Perhaps you should try some different stuff.

Its maybe the size of your arms Do you have enough spare skin ?
Try it with a solid bar (perhaps a long nail )
So you can get a bit more pressure on it.
If you cannot get that to work perhaps your skin isn't elastic enough
or you have very thin arms.
Whilst this trick is a bit arkward to get started 3 or 4 attempts should
see you alright .It may be your arms are just not suitable for this trick

Are you giving the rc enough time to "go off" ?.. it needs to dry a bit before you start.

Let it go off for approx 3 minutes.
Also, make sure your arm is clean

You may not have the right sort of arm. Knowing the principle, I tried this with a normal needle before purchasing Needle Thru Arm - I'm glad I did. You do need some loose skin for it - if you're skinny, or just have plenty of skin, you should be ok - I play guitar and climb, so my forearms are fairly bulky - great for the game "Peanuts", bad for needle thru arm. Despite doing it correctly I was no where near this working, my skin is just not loose enough.

Try SAW instead

I've also found that if you are prepping the needle with Vaseline before hand to help the needle slide through then you must be v. careful not to smear it on the RC or it wont work.

unfortunatly after extensive research and many hours of swearing and jumping up and down i think that this trick isn't going to happen for me right now,

1) i think my arms don't have enough skin to allow the trick to work properly

2) because of the first reason i am unable to experiment with the RC to find out the perfect length of time to use it

thus and quite frustratedly i must admit defeat and choose to take this trick up at a later date when hopefully i'll have been given some spare skin by the miscellaeneous body parts fairy. although any hints and tips are still appreciated

To get more flesh / skin I would recommend my new diet plan.

greedonizs fat bu**er programme is an easy to follow weight gain plan with only a few rules

1) Dont ever put the fork down
2) If it's fresh and not meat dont eat it
3) Sugar coated is always good
4) If at all possible batter it and fry it

I can guarantee that with in weeks the needle thru arm will be easy to perform in any one of the rolls of fat you will have developed.

Greedoniz, I eat like that anyway, and I don't have (that many) rolls of fat :P

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

Not recommended for a pint of lager though

Another point to mention (although this won't help you with your predicament Figo  ) is that if, like me, you are hairy on the area of skin that you're trying - it's highly recommended to shave the necessary area first. If you don't, I can tell you from first-hand experience that it's bloody painful when it comes to the "clean-up" :?

Seriously Figo, do you have SAW?

Similar effect but better in my opinion, and you will have no problem whatsover.
