We Brits are very used to losing things - its why we invented the phrase, 'It's not the winning, it's the playing which counts' (yeah, right!). Best of luck anyway :D !

My boyfriend is mad on cricket, was in a real huff after that game. Personally the game drives me nuts.

unless it involves a big sail and an expanse of water, it doesn't even qualify as a spot.

I ve always wanted to try my hand at surfing, I was in cornwall during the summer and wanted a go but not being able swim :( But i got a great bit of advice "you dont need to be able to swim to surf" I dont know why people who give advice like that are allowed out in public.

I would say you need to be a strong swimmer to take part in any water sport. It's so easy to get caught in a rip tide or current and if you can't get out of it you're going to end up fish food.

Yep, but I have not been out for any runs yet. I like my first run of the season to be on fresh snow and so far here in Mass we have only had one snowfall which gave us only about two or so inches on a weekday...by the weekend it was gone :(.

If I ever come to the UK we should go snowboaring together.

Sorry if this sounds a bit....but what is ASHES?
