The Smoothini Hour

Postby Smooth » Dec 11th, '06, 23:35

I want to remind everyone that tomorrow is my big night. I will be bringing a weekly magic themed variety show to San Diego. This will be the first weekly magic show in San Diego in over 30 years. Week after week I will be performing the magic and mentalism that made Michael Lauck (Abracapocus) call me, "The future of Magic." The same performance style that had David A. Grier (from In Living Color) say, "Let me get your autograph," and had Whit Haydn (Vice President of The Magic Castle) say, "I'm a big fan of yours Smoothini." As a matter of fact he, and a few others from the castle will be in attendance for the first show to show support to what could be the biggest magical attraction in the area, outside of LA and Vegas.

This weekly magic show will feature magicians, poets, rappers, singers, bands, dancers, models, special talents, children talent.....week after week I have gotten the budget to bring top notch, unknown entertainment to San Diego. Please support the cause. And tomorrow is the debut night!

There will be experiments in

Precognition - the knowledge of future events before they occur using extrasensory perception (ESP)

Telepathy - apparent communication from one mind to another without using sensory perceptions, otherwise known as thought transference

Psychometry – the ability of knowing information about people or events by touching an object associated to them.

AND BRAND NEW!!!

An experiment Smoothini has only performed once because it scared him way too much.

An experiment in necromancy.

Necromancy – the summoning, contacting and communicating with the dead!!!

On the debut night I have introducing me the owner of The Grand Magic Shop, JP Scirica, opening up for me. He will perform a 15 minute set and properly introduce yours truly. I have seen JP perform several times and wow, I am very flattered that he will do the honor of warming this audiencef for me. He is an accomplished Cruise Line performer and in close-up..... oh dear. Just the other day at his store, he baffled my mind with an ambitious card routine that he was doing for my girlfriend. It was flawless. I have no idea how he did it.

I will then go up for about 30 minutes doing comedy magic. Then I'll have an intermission where this comedian, Ibo, will do this hilarious routine about magicians. Ibo is a 28 year old black comedian with about 11 years of stand up experience. I saw him perform his routine about hip-hop and was impressed at how funny he was, although he wasn't cursing or even jumping on the race issue. Not knowing there was a magician in the crowd he started talking about his trip to Vegas. I was crying at how much he made me laugh.

Then I will change clothes and do 20 or so minute mentalism routine, and then for the grand finale I decided to put my ego away and allow a salty night club performer take it. I have Magic Castle veteran magician, Kevin Viner performing a trick where a signed paint ball gets shot at him and he catches it. It should bring my house down.

Every Tuesday I will have a different high quality performer to come show my audiences the best magic and the arts have to offer.

I also have a list of 22 hot ass girls wanting to be my assistant. So every week I will have a different gorgeous Smoothini Girl to display. Next week I have these 15 year old acrobatic break dancers, then after that I have a risque ballet dancers.

Please spread the word.... Smoothini is here in 2007!

I'm going to show you how we do it in the hood!

Come and support!

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

Sorry for the delay, but the show has been a success. Take a look at the pictures and the few video clips. I will have a full show split apart and posted on YouTube as soon as possible. Stay tuned to my blog on MySpace.
