hey guys. i decided to start a thread on passes. not a pass, but the variety out there.
what are your thoughts on passes? which ones do you prefer? what do you find hard about them? and what tips could you give on a certain pass.

my favourite pass is the Herman, or turnover pass. my classic pass is still in the making and i feel more comfident with the turnover then i do with any other.
what do you think?

Turnover pass is good, but too often you have to find a reason to turn the deck over as it's not a natural part of the trick (at least I find that).

I favour the classic pass every time.
Bit of misdirection and your hands barely need to come together

Clean, quiet, and once you've got it down... disturbingly simple

I my opinion the riffle pass is the best. Just try them all yourself.

I love the classic pass, easily my fave pass. I practice it lots of hours a day.

Do it as you are moving your hand or after saying a little joke(just when they start laughing).

I like the classic pass, not too hot at it yet but getting there.

God knows I've tried to master the pass. I've studied "On The Pass" By Kaufman and practiced until my eyeballs and fingers bled, but something in my brain won't make my ham-fisted fingers work properly, not even with bridge cards.

I never got theh ang of the spread pass it was jsut making the whole thing work at once

Classic pass for me, despite the fact that even after mucho practico I'm still not very good at it. Or in fact any good.

I use the classic pass but in reality, with enough misdirection you can openly cut the deck anyway. Don't sweat too much unless you are required to pass directly in front of the spek.

i prefer the classic pass but the only way I can make it invisible is to do the god awful Bread Chrsitian thing where you square up the deck to cover it.. I cant do it as i bring my hands together, its too visible

though there are many variations to the pass which I do well

The riffle pass is beyond me.. a sure fire way to get into 52 card pickup!!

I like the spread pass and turnover pass but dont use these often as there seems to be no justification for them
