Thought it was about time I said hello to all, after spending some time browsing the site for reviews and recommendations on the right thing to learn card magic.
I'm a total newbie with all this magic stuff, but really enjoy watching card tricks and fancy giving it a try. Now I’ve never really been any good with handling cards in general (I have a shocking overhand shuffle – cards every where!), but that hasn’t put me off! I like a challenge
I’ve bought the RRTCM DVD set and book and slowly working my way through it. And I do mean slowly. I’m practicing the basics shown in chapter one, and spending a lot of time getting the overhand shuffle to look like a shuffle! At least I’m holding them correctly now and not dropping any.
Looks like this is going to be a long journey, but hey; if it was that easy – everyone would be doing it!!
