Now it gets me rattled when Some one comes on here and asks for a trick to be explained ok it could be the fact that they didnt understand the forum rules. But seeking out memebers to trade tricks with. If you read my post to David zanthor you see my view point on leechers in fact I have come up with a new word (Seige knows what it is). I like to think i am held in quite good regard on this forum about my knowldge and thats why i get people contacting me like this or i am just stroking my own ego.

But yes its ok to contact me via Msn and i think i talk for most not all users that they are happy to be contacted in this way too. But dont come to us to "Trade tricks"

one more time people READ THE RULES and think most of the rules that apply on here apply when talking to members on MsN or AIM,

Grrrr this annoys me. If the prices are too high then he should go somewhere else! If everyone did what he does to get his magic, which is beg steal and borrow, then there would be no magic shops for us to buy what we do!

Someone's attitude towards piracy is often a sign of their age.

I run a music video label, and release DVDs worldwide. My biggest sellers are the DVDs by bands that have a grown-up following. They're not playing the biggest venues or reaching the biggest audiences, but their fans grew up having to buy their music. They went through the trial of having to read fanzines and tune into john Peel's show to find out about new underground stuff, then place an order for music with their local record shops. Those fans buy my DVDs.

I've also released DVDs by bands that have a much younger following and play to bigger audiences in bigger venues. You'd think that these discs would be bigger sellers, and you'd be wrong. It seems that a lot of the younger music fans see music as something you download from the net rather than something you buy. I'm active on a few punk messageboards, and a line I hear very often goes something like this: 'I can't buy the new Bad Religion CD cos I'm poor and ten bucks is too expensive. But I bought a pair of sneakers today with the Rancid logo on them. They were only a hundred. Bargain'...

So I'm not even approaching many of the new teen-friendly bands with DVD proposals, because they just won't sell. They might end up on a load of torrent sites, but I wouldn't sell more than a handful of actual DVDs. So I just don't want to gamble the time and money in shooting and releasing those discs in the first place. And that's the fans' loss as much as anyone's.

Okay, I'll get off off the high horse...

Why would any one want Rancind logo on there shoes wont it spread to other parts of the shoe...


Anyhow Piracy is a crime, downloading a vid of the net then trading the trick with some one else , ends up two creators losing money. And all that they are rich they wont miss it. Is one of them poor excuses like the kids have nothing to do so they hit old ladys over the head.

I have said my piece on exposing D/Ls etc before but out and out piracy is wrong. Shows you have no Respect for the creator of the effect or magic in general.

And the fact you would actually try and trade tricks with a mod from talk magic shows you are a Brad Christian short of a internet magic empire. An Erdanase short of a Sankey DvD....
