Not really sure what you are talking about. Is this a new show they've done, dvd release, etc.?

Last thing I heard from penn and teller was the Bullsh*t show, and Penn is doing a limited run gameshow.

Was this a UK release?

I've seen Off the Deep End, it was good generally, nice and refreshing.

It's a shame about the exposure at the end, makes me wonder why they would expose their own trick minutes after doing it.

This was an underwater TV special for NBC I think filmed in 2005
it is available on DVD

supermagictom Did you believe the ending really?

I'm not sure what whirlybird was used but a Chinook can only lift
27,082 lbs or 12,284 kgs
now I don't know if its the strongest in the world but its got to be up there
in the top 5

I definitely believed it when I saw the explanation, but now I realize maybe its just a false explanation. Damn, I hate falling for those, I feel like such a layman.

It was a JOKE people. Come on, use some common sense. I still have friends who swear it was real.

But it wasnt the true secret.

The off the deep end special was the cover story to an issue of Genii earlier this year. In the story, they go in-depth into what parts of the show were real and what parts were not, as well as the theory behind what they were trying to show. The big reveal at the end was, as most of you guessed, not true.

Hey Bronin thanks for the info on Geni Magazine.
Iv'e just read the article and was a bit shocked at how much was
clever editing and how much was total fake. Mind you the section
with no tricks just collecting crowd reactions did give you fair warning
also I thought the story about the water box escape was funnier the
actual way they did it rather then the bogus funny explination
