Question about card decks

Postby wizius » Dec 17th, '06, 22:33

Hi everyone,
Do u guys know where i can buy some cheap card decks ? I have sweaty hands. I am using Bicycle deck to practice now. After i use it for a while (less than a week), the deck starts to be sticky, very hard to continue my practice with that deck. So i have to change decks frequently. Each Bicycle deck is about $3.94. Its really expensive for someone who change a card deck faster than changing my clothes.

Do u guys have any place or any card deck alike Bicycle but cheaper??? I went to Amazon, they have 2 kind of card decks: Beetle (12 decks for $4.99) and Motor (10 decks for $4.99). Has anyone used these decks? How are they? Can they use for practicing?

Thank you very much. And sorry about my English.
wizi.

I have some and tbh - u really can't tell there's anything wrong with them  try here

Or you could try a brick of bicycles here

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I once saw some bicycle cards that were cheap because they had minor errors on them. Can't remember where I saw them, their not recommended for performing, but are great for cheap practice cards.

If you can find them they would be fine, I think.

Also if sticky hands are a problem you could try washing your hands before you handle cards.

Plus you could buy the decks in bricks (a block of 12 decks as one big block, which can save money).

edit:
damn, it always takes me so long to type a post, and now I've been beaten to it again.

Also, try a little bit of talcum powder in your hands. Depending on how quickly your hands become sweaty, it could prolong the time you can practice significantly.

It isnt help if i wash my hand. I have to use Baby Powder when my hands wet. When they are dry (can't even do DL, or lift a card), i have to use Baby Oil to make it wet. My hands are only normal when the room temperature is at a specific temp and i am not nervous. Otherwise, it sucks. If u have normal hands, U should take a good care of them, lucky you.
