Trading/Selling Dvd's

Postby Nuckles001 » Dec 18th, '06, 21:39

Hi, I'm new to this whole forum thing and was wondering why we are not aloud to sell/trade dvd's? I looked on the rules and regulations, but couldn't find any thing. If you have any reasons that you could give me for this, It would be really helpful :).
Thank's Nuckles001

It's because you can simply learn the content and sell them on to recoup your investment but still perform them, implicitly making a mental copy of the material when you sell.

The short answer is that it is one of the forumrules not to sell/trade DVDs. When you register, you agree to follow the rules and so you can not sell or trade DVDs because you agreed not to. It's a like it or lump it situation.

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..
