hmmm...i was thinking - maybe if we all jotted down what we were after magic-wise here, a prop or some device or other, perhaps others might of seen something similar on their travels...

though i'd probably end up making myself one, i'd like a very small clipboard, maybe double the size of a playingcard, with a little bulldog clip at the top and some kind of mini-impression device built into the base of it...in black if possible...oh and a small magnet built in it too for nefarious purposes...

what are yours?

I'd love a pretty, feminine PK ring, preferably with a nice diamond in the middle.

A baby hornet (if that's the name) by John Riggs would fulfill your wish Abraxus.

A real card through window. Where you can do it on a space shuttle if you wanted to. And you dont have to be able to touch both sides. And the spectator could remove it, if its even possible to remove it. And doesnt involve throwing cards (well thats not so important, i just wouldnt want cards floating everywhere inside the space shuttle).

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

Lady of Mystery - i dunno whether the strength would be enough for use, but have you ever considered just a normal piece of magnetic jewellry? rings, bangles and so on..

you should be able use them in some way, even if its just as a crafty hold out device...

I've used magnetic bracelets plenty of times to get rid of palmed coins but nothing's really strong enough for decent PK effects.

I have worked out ways around some tricks with magnets sewed into some of my tops and skirts but a proper PK ring would make life so much easier.

With a bit of ingenuity and some seriously strong adhesive (Blue Peter style!) it might be possible to add the stone and claw from a costume ring to a PK ring. The band would be a bit wider than most jewelled rings but if its amongst other genuine jewellery it might be inconspicuous enough to be OK.
