Heya im Sean the "nakedmagician"

Dont worry im dressed, I call myself that cos I hate using gimmicks to do my work for me :)

Amateur hobbyist, doing bits for family mainly but have a website up with videos ( apologies for the styling on them, it makes them stand out ) at www.nakedmagic.co.uk and running a lil contest at min offering royal road to card magic book as a prize if anyones interested ( ok shameless promotion part over )

So yeah I dont claim to be any good, it takes hours to film one 2minute video for the site and even then im not totally happy with it, but im getting there.( Hope this forum helps me :) looks good so far from my lurking days anyway.

Welcome! I am also a bit of a purist! Except my view is that anything goes when you have earned it! Its a bit like in art: I do not have a great deal of respect for non-figurative painters who are incapeble of paining figurative. However a painter who fully master the techniques and can pain figurative pictures have earned the right to produce non-figurative art.

Do not worry! Not all on TM produce this type of "high brow" gibberish

Magic is slight of mind!

lol, well - I used to go for all the gimmicks, it was easy to pick one up and get the job done. Prob I realised is that your usually pretty limited what you can do, and my usual audience ( family and friends ) dont wanna see the same stuff over n over. Whereas with a few well practised sleights you can do any number of effects, so I got practising :) Its always better to be "naked" I reckon... well... usually... as if im gonna tell you when im not tho

Hello Sean and welcome to TM!
Brrrrrrrrrr... Nakedmagic... I can see on your vids, that your hands have become blue/greenish, you must have stayed naked for too long time. Get some clothes on man! :)
You wouldn't survive for a long time here at least!
Best greetings from Iceland.
