Tricky, that's great news. I wonder how many cards are going to be stuck to the ceiling within a year?

Ecko, I'm pretty sure there's something in 13 steps about predicting a dart score too.

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh

You might be right mate, and if not, to hell with it. Strap on a N/W and steal the idea :D

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

There's a bar/pub I saw once on a program *AGES* ago that was popular with card magicians. Toward the end they showed a shot of the ceiling of the bar which was completely invisible - as it was covered in signed cards.

i can thoroughly recommend Jay Sankey's DVD... i have it and love it.

link for a source here but seems available most places:
http://www.magicshop.co.uk/real-work-re ... -1766.html

a solid TM review here:
***there is a good review here at TM, but on checking the search function is not working so suggest try again later.

the most important thing to note is Jay doesn't just teach "tricks", he teaches a style, a mindset, a presentation, an understanding of the uniqueness of bar work. well worth considering because most of the tricks can be done with props readily available at any bar.

Thanks for all of your help guys! I'll definitely get some of that stuff! Keep the ideas coming though! Can never get enough suggestions for something like this! I mean, its possible that i'll be performing all day! I need to get my practice in!

Oh, and looks like i need to go shopping for Card on Ceiling 'supplies'! Anyone know the cheapest place to get this thing?

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

Using a Swa*i to predict what people will order, darts scores, how much change they have in their pocket, etc will be worth doing as will torn and restored notes when people are paying for their drinks.
If you use gimmicks then flaming wallet could be worth using as will flash £5 and £10 notes.
