Chriss "Angle" woman cut in half trick

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

(The politically correct term is "little person", but I don't think any one is going to chase me with pitchforks and torches for this.)

Anyway, when Kevin did it, it was funny and entertaining. When Criss did it I got chills down my spine, and not in a good way.

I really didn't like Criss's effect, even if this woman makes a living out of her condition; this was just degrading, through my perspective at least.

Kevin is a special case when it comes to persons of this ilk however; Kevin is the great grand nephew of the legendary P.T. Barnum and one of his goals is to create a program that features special people of this sort. He has a Flaminco Guitar master, for an example, who plays with this feet in that he has no arms; there is a ballet type rendering by persons such as the living torso you mention in this thread and a plethora of other such highlights that are simply amazing, which reveal these "special" people in a more positive light.

It's nowhere near "exposure" my friend... the routine was done in good humor with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

please stop calling him "Angle"... as with most magician's... he's quite "angle sensitive".

First - I think the lady does need money
doesn't everyone?

Second - I wonder how they did the Legs part of the act
look at the proportions - Looks very good

You need to find 2 "freak" people - obviously the top part lady was having a relatively good go though

Criss Angle has a large family:
A brother in the demolition business - Rectangle
A University professor Uncle who is never wrong - Right Angle
His stupid cousin - Obtuse Angle
His attractive sister - Acute Angle

the list is probably endless......
