Anybody have one or heard of them? I just got one for christmas and was wondering if it could improve xcm (even the slightest.) It is, however, very addicting nonetheless.

I got bought one of these a few years back. When I received it I hoped it would improve my racket sports - never did.

They say it can prevent/alleviate RSI - but I'd say it could cause it!

I think praticing flourishes/XCM is the only way to improve - not sure if these things would help - and God it gets boring after a while. They can be fun for a short time if you get competetive with freinds who have them or online (highest revs etc.) - have you got one the light-up ones?

I can't see why they haven't done a bluetooth version which could link to your PC. You could powerball your way across the channel (virtually) or something like they've done with rowing machines and the like.

I'll have to find my p-ball out again, that's if the kids haven't been playing cricket in the garden with it or something

I have one of these and they are quite useful for hand muscles. As wlel as quite good "hand training" it is also good fun. Unfortunately the novelty wears off after a while :(

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

I wonder if those "chinese chiming stress balls" might help? At least their is a lot more going on with the hand/fingers as opposed to wrist and forearm with the p-ball.

I'd like to see how De'vo would mash up a few of these bad boys:

Sh*t, more CUPS, those 8-balls look the business.

I also own some chinese excercise balls. I have a large set and a tiny set. Agin they are quite good for the hand muscles and movement but tedious after any more than 5 minutes. Aswell as this the chiming does your head in. I find that if you ah tem together hard enou8gh the chiming stops, but they are still ball shaped and useble :D

I just got my powerball yesterday for Christmas. Today my hand feels like it's dropping off and I have already spilt two bowls of cereal  (which I would never normally do)! Mom is not happy!
Anyway, I think it could possibly help for XCM but it depends exactly what sort of thing you do, and how extra strength would help you (?). I don't know.
They are certainly addictive though and pretty fun too!

*goes and plays* *wrist hurts*
