What do you guys do with the Jokers?
Do you take them out every time or keep them in or take them out for good when you open a new deck?

I always tke themstraight out of a new deck but keep them somewhere safe. There are quite a few tricks that use jokers now so they're always handy to have around

I leave them in usually, then if it gets seen or even selected I have an excuse to go into an effect with them

Otherwise, I make double facers with jokers on both sides.

Whenever I open a new deck I take all the jokers/adverts out straight away, and save them in a safe place.

The advert cards have a particularly fine use - for practicing things that damage your cards. They're spare for tear and restore practice, sweaty palming practice, etc.

I save the jokers for when I might need them.

I use them as bookmarks mostly, or for practicing Mibndbender.

get hold of Andrew Normansell's Club Sandwich - a great effect using the jokers!

I find that there is a number of good effects that utilize the jokers..."Jokers Wild" for one......I also find that subconsciously if they are seen during spreads, available for selections, etc.....it subtly delivers the "it is a regular deck of cards" convincer......not that you need alot of convincers, but ones that require no work, patter, sleights, etc...are always good to have in play.....

Usually I do not perform for jokers  but if such spectators are present I include them and let them be part of the show!

I usually keep them in and then as i open the deck to do a trick i usually take them out in front of the spectator. I jus think it is a bit more of a convincer that its a real deck and theres nothing fishy about it.
