How to find a Bankers Clasp

Postby shanester » Dec 31st, '06, 22:01

Hi all,
I'm looking for a Bankers Clasp to use as an holdout (see Bannon's Smoke and Mirrors). I can find them in the US sites but not the UK sites.

Any help would be appreciated

I am not sure exactly what a "Bankers clasp" is......if it is not considered to be exposure, pm me a description or a picture of one....I will then have a look around here (I am in Canada) and see if I can find you one.....

I would guess "Bankers Clasp" is an americanism for "Money Clip", that's why your searches are only turning up sales on US sites.

Try Googling the correct english term "Money Clip", I'm sure you'll have some success

Here's a picture:
As you can see it is the end part which applies pressure. I use a money clip for OTL but they are different.

Thanks for the help though

Will this *ahem* do the trick:

Failing that, do I need to start a little import business from the US? How much are you guys looking to pay for one of these?

Thanks for all of the suggestions.
Knowing what they are for, I think that this money clip may be too short.

I'll look into them.

Ian, if I find one suitable (or I end up buying a box from the States), I'll let you know

The clip mentioned in "Smoke and Mirrors" (pg 30) is 5 and a half inches long.
Most money clips are about 2 inches long.

Bannon calls it a "Stainless Steel Clasp Senior".
