It's a cricket match between England and Australia which goes on for about 3 months.

I think we're loosing at the moment by the way my boyfriend has been shouting and swearing at the TV in the small hours of the morning.

Its a 2 inch trophy well actualy its an urn of the bit that goes on top of a stump from some cricket match, England and the ozzys played moons ago. And they still harping on about it.

well, the 3rd test match starts this week... sounds like not many of you will be watching given the "sudden" disinterest in the sport. here's hoping for a good fair contest and may the best team win...

No worries, there are plenty of die hard masochists here who will watch until the very the last ball is bowled in the unshakeable belief that the lads can suddenly recover and zoom on to a glorious victory. Such faith is very touching !

it would make more compelling viewing if they had to cremate the losing team and put their ashes in a pot...

at least it would liven things up a little...
