Hey guys, I'm a mentalist out of Dallas, Texas. Right now I would consider myself an advanced hobbyist, but I'm in the process of getting a professional repitoire put together.
I've been doing some free shows for friends and friends of family at parties/gatherings, and I've had a pretty good reception so far. I'm currently working on a routine that is framed as a demonstration of suggestion, nlp, and rapid calculation/memorization. It has gotten some GREAT response so far.
So anyone with advice about either starting off in the mentalism business, or towards developing good believable routining for the show, your pm's would be highly appreciated.
