It's not realtime, it's more like play by mail. You can make a move every three days if you want.

ah right, i might give it a miss then, i'd get bored or forget about it if it was over that long a time period, sorry fella. if there's some real(ish) time net version out there though i could give you a game. you'll kick my ass but i could give you a game.

For realtime, download cgoban2 and register on the server it connects to. PM me on here or msn if you want a game.

You can make a move as soon as you like on the Dragon server, depends on the game parameters.

I played a bit many years ago and was around 6kyu (which is kind of an impossible level, since most people who get below 10kyu very fast progress to around 1 kyu or better. I suppose my knowledge of the game is 10kyu but who due to my experience as a chess player (2 norms for international master) manage artificially to squeze my kyu level down to 6kyu. I am too busy to play anything these days, but I love playing games, and I played for the Danish Championship in "triatlon" (Chess, go and bridge) where my partner was Danish champion the year before, but we "only" got a third place mainly do to a bad break in the bridge turnement. Maybe I will have a few games og Go during the weekend.

Go is an incredible game. I wish life was longer!

But, then a game would take a year. For me playing like that would be quite obsessive and I would end up spending hours of analysis each day!

I tried the test. I apparantly am 18kyu. I dont know what this means?? Im going to read the rules and study this but at first glance this looks interesting
