i just recently found out a local magic shop got ripped off 600 dollars. it just pees me off! the guy is such a nice guy his name is brent beadle(or owen, not quite sure what he goes by) yah but hes really cool and someone broke into his shop and ripped him off. i tell you if i had 600 dollars to spere id donate it to the magic shop. if your ever in the vancouver island distrect check this shop out its pretty dope!

i feel for him, someone broke into the youth room of my church and stole 2 wii controlers and a cash register full of money :cry:

While I have some sympathy, leaving a cash register full of money and unspervised is asking for money.

Anyone running a business should also ensure that their security if up to scratch so that they can;t be ripped off.

Makes little difference !

The fact is that if you don't take adequate precautions then expect the worst to happen at some stage. If it doesn't then it's just luck.

The first and foremost principle of security is fit good locks and control the keys.

Just because it's not in the wondow - likelihood is that someone knew it was there beforehand, particularly if nothing else was touched.

Really? I've always found that a more direct approach, such as saying "please may I have some money?" is more effective.

That's not to say it's very effective. Or effective at all for that matter. It depends on the context and timing. But it's almost certainly more effective than the unsupervised cash register approach.

well i know were urcomming from. but its obvious a magician broke in, and any magician who steals from a shop is a bad one! i just got my third degree burn today so im happy:)
