Pure Effect Available (approved posting)

Postby Marvell » Jan 16th, '07, 17:00

Since I can't post in items for sale, here we go.

I have found a source of New copies of Pure Effect (3rd ed). I have been asked by the supplier not to disclose the number available or the cost. Needless to say they have few and they are expensive. They will also incur a minimum $10 shipping cost from the states.

I can assure you that this is a legitimate source that I purchased from myself (in December, when they were half the price they are now) and I will give contact details, but not cost or stock, by PM, as stipulated by the supplier.

If you want one, get in quick. My estimate, based on what he's told me about the stock and purchase pattern is that there will be none available by this time next week.

Note from Mods: All checked and approved before making this offer!

My boss gave me pure effect 2 months ago as he couldnt understand any of it.

Mine is a third edition.. mint condition.. will this be worth money as I now understand it is out of print??

I might get ( try to get ) Derren to sign it when I go see him in May in Birmingham

Seriously mate, if you're gigging, it might make you far more money from really getting into the material it contains, making it your own and performing it well.

Like working in a bar. Why cant you tell the price then?

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

The vendor, who was the publisher, asked me not to publically reveal his contact details or the price of the book. You can find the book by going through the recommendations on Derren's site and actually contacting the person he recommends, but you'll find it's probably completely gone now.

And yes, one good shift behind the bar pays for it.

Let's have a guessing game. I reckon at least a 100 pounds, anyone else fancy a go?

Go on Marvell, you can be Brucie and we shout "Higher!" or "Lower!".

Mark, you can be the busty assistant.
