I'd say that the lifespan will depend on how much you use it.If it's everyday then it will obviously wear quicker but some rou*****ing f***d will restore it to it's original glory.

Always buy from a reputable supplier and you can't go wrong very much.

Most people assume that R & S decks fail because the need more R*&^ing fluid. This is usually NOT the case. The deck fails because the smooth side is no longer smooth. Polish these faces with a soft cloth and you will immediately feel the differnce.

Longevity depends upon the cleanliness of your hands and of those touching the cards and also the humidy of your environment.

as max said, it is usually the smoothness of the faces, which is all due to humidity and the environment your cards are left it.

Don't leave them in your pocket!

After every night I perform with mine I let them "air out" if you will,

keeping them ribbon spread on my desk and only stuffing them back into the case when Im going out to use them.

I bought this deck yesterday and I been practicing with it for a good few hours. If the selected card is near the top I find it hard to spread out the first few cards.

Any chance someone could give me a little help with it in a PM please?

The effect this trick has is fantastic, but your handling needs to be spot on, you need to look like you are going through the deck and merely looking for the upturned card, nothing more. This only comes with practice.

I think the danger with this type of effect is that people buy it, practice it once or twice then start showing people before they're ready, not good at the best of times but fatal for the right execution of this effect. One duff move and the entire trick and it's workings are revealed.

It's all down to pressure. Both physical and the psychological stress of getting it right every time. A certain lightness of touch will alleviate the latter

!!!WARNING!!!

All of my magic stuff and I have been kicked out of the house, and moved into a shed-like-thing which has been decked out so it's suitable to work in - BUT - there is no heating, and with this, my ID has kind of...well...grown. It about twice as thick as it was, as I discovered after I had to slice the box open with a stanley knife. At first I thought this was due to the cold mixed with the air cushion finish as from all cards from the USPCC, but then i realised that none of my other decks had been affected. So I put it down to the r***h and s****h. Most people will be ok, as their partners or parents won't mind hundreds of cards all over the floors walls and ceilings, but just a heads up.

Is the cold the reason or is it just age, it wasnt exactly new, but I've had other invisible decks longer? Is there a remedy? Any ideas? Anyone?
