my apologies for the somewhat "tardy" hello... it's just occured to me i have more than 300 posts and yet have not "properly" stopped by the intro section to say hi!

my interest in Magic goes back 35 years (I'm 40) and initially as a 5 year old involved some basic cups and balls stuff and a plastic wand hollowed out with elastic inside. progressing to more erm... "sophisticated" routines using dice, cards and coins, the presentation of magic was what i loved and in particular, making people laugh, amazing people, surprising people.

around 13 my love for sport and subsequently interest in girls saw me drift away from Magic. then several years ago, a friend of mine did some work with a TT that amazed everyone present. the best part though was it reminded me just how much fun magic was... i was hooked all over again.

i have travelled frequently all over the world with work for some 15 years, however (fortunately) i now have the resources and time to rediscover my interest in Magic... in particular cards, coins, my trusty TT and more recently mentalisim about which i am reading numerous books.

although not directly related to my work, i often "perform" for colleagues and customers at trade fairs, restaurants and even board rooms, i find it a great way to ensure a memorable and most enjoyable meeting. even more fun is enjoying magic with my 2 sons who love to amaze their friends and relatives... it's great to share this with them, the kind of stuff "money just cant buy".

i have gained much from my time here at TM and look forward to both gaining and contributing in the future.
