Some of it is very useful but it's not 100% reliable and it's no more revolutionary than any other book on body language or psychology.
I agree that anchoring is useful but elements of it have a wishy washy new age edge to it with ridiculous terminology attatched to it to appeal to the computer generation.
The book 'Sleight of Mind' details some good uses of NLP in magic and mentalism.
