case full of pro tricks

Postby redbucket » Jan 23rd, '07, 03:15

hi- i am serious and not just looking for "answers"
I have done magic since i was say about 12-
back then i went to Philadelphia magic shop in the 80's-
yes it's closed now- and i GAVE my collection away when i was
27 or so- last summer my girl friend bought me a brief case
FILLED with pro end effects! I know a lot of the workingd and
have practiced - eric the magican a friend of mine has helped with some-

i ask for help - cus- a lot of the tricks have NO directions.

Question of the hour- Cigarette Pierce- the brass tube with
5 nails - the end screws off- the other end has marks as
a pair of vice grips has tried to take it off- is this the correct
way to eject the cigarette for the effect?

any help is welcome!

OK, firstly, I'm dubious about the 'pro' quality of the stuff—especially if the cigarette tube has marks from attempts to open it!

I'm not entirely sure, but it sounds to me more like you have a vanish tube, for making lit cigarettes dissapear... although I could be wrong.

Without instructions, you may just have a difficult time pinning down these tricks.

Hey Redbucket:

I think you will find there is a really nice magic shop on 4th and South in Philly now.

Your Cicarette Thing

a I understand by the description of your cigarette trick, It seems that it may be a cigarette vanish tube. tale a careful look at the components that are with the trick some versions have a tiny cigarette included.
I need to know more information on the trick you have. What other things do not have instructions? if you do not know what they are called what do they look like? Is this set new?

brass tube-

Postby redbucket » Jan 24th, '07, 05:55

here is what i have-

http://www.maxello.com/index.php?s=99ba ... =39&q=9601

Cigarette Pierce Cigarette Pierce
Larger image...
Item-ID: fu-173 Price: US$9.95 €7.85
This is similar to the Cigarette Cutter, except that instead of a blade slicing the cigarette in half, there are five holes in the tube. You push five solid nails through, which pierce the cigarette at all angles. Then repeat the effect, and the cigarette is completely unharmed. A precision prop turned in solid brass.

i know i have pro items- i have a professional magician friend who has looked over my pieces and he has used many of the same items-
i just can meet him for he is proforming a lot.
