lol
glad you got on with it but you may want to edit part of that post as it may be seen as giving the game away :) (if I'm being paranoid, sorry)

I find copper marks the sheet a lot more than silver (to add to the 2p point above) and yeah you can set it up earlier but there is a random point where it will suddenly unset itself :( as I have found to my cost, lol.

Also coins aren't the only things you can use, dice work well for example as long as they are big enough :)

Already edited it - soz...

There's a one-man method of re-setting the effect, which fits in your pocket...

Clue: You get one free with traditional wine bottles...

Hey- just a tip- if ever you burst the rubber like I did- you can buy 36 sheets of the same stuff for £10 from the dentist-effective stuff, although its green, it makes no difference to the effect and is stronger.---Its called Dental Dam- It saves you from spending a fortune buying the effect again. Love the pena coin and without resetting it, I just put a few pena coins in my pocket and Im set for the day!! For anyone who hasn't bought it yet---buy it now!!!! Brilliant for closeup!!!

Dental Dams work great :)

I have a few links to sites that sell them mail order if anybody wants them, though due to the nature of the sites pm me for them if you are over 18 :)

Dental Dams? LOL. "No, honestly, I want to push coins through them."

I'm not too sure about letting a spectator do it. Not so much because they might work it out, as for an increased risk of them tearing the sheet (too much force, or long nails).

Mind you, we all know how good it is to let the spectator work magic in his or her own hands, so the trade-off might be good.

When I first bought this (called "Gozinta and produced by the Inzani-Henley Magic Compnay), it came with one of those "gimmicks". :)

There is another advantage to using a silver coin. They have milled edges. 'Nuff said.

I got a version some years ago cast in green latex, with four counters (like tiddly winks). You did a "Magician's Choice" force. The counters were good because they are colourful, but bad because they were so smooth and, I suppose, because they are not quite as commonplace as coinage!

... also, silver coins still LOOK silver when they're in play, unlike copper coins...

Carefull when using two coins with milled edges, though... the tensile strength and the high force on a small surface area is similar to offering a very sharp needle up to a very overinflated balloon.

My first outing with this was also in the guise of Gozinta... which from what I can ascertain is a much better booklet and guide to the effect than the one which I've heard mentioned.

I've also noticed my copper coins don't look silver Seige.

Well, I've checked all my old human biology books (published by playboy) and I can't find the serious bone anywhere?!

Maybe it's a new scientific discovery. :?:
