Hmmm I haven't performed this in ages.

I wonder whether there are very small (but noticeable) tolerances when it comes to can manufacturing. The reason I ask is that I remember doing this a while ago (I can't for the life in me remember what can it was, but I know it wasn't a coke can  ), and for the first few perfomances it worked ok.
Then one time, I remember having the same problem that you're now having and wondering whether the design/shape/size or whatever had been altered. I stayed away from that can and tried something else instead. Then outta the blue (I dunno why - I was prob at a party or something :? ) I remember picking an empty can up (the brand that I used to use  ) and experimenting with it and lo and behold everything seemed fine again lol

I dunno - maybe there are different batches. Maybe it depends which factory they were made in - all I know is that I've def had different size cans of the same brand. Many questions remain unanswered, 'cos to this day, I've no idea why I had the problems that you're now having

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Yes. it is a squeeze but once done it makes the effect better. Or use 20p

you do have to be careful which cans you use, as not all will work. But yes a 10p is a squeeze but will go in, or as suggested a 20p is much easier but the end result isn't as effective.

yes sinful can be found with most magic dealers,

just look up "sinful" by wayne houchin.

(here in the US) I had trouble with finding good cans, but mostly coke cans worked best. I just reduced the sizing of the coin to a dime. It wouldn't hurt the effect whatsoever! Plus its a bit more metallic looking...

best,

kirk

Also, for us Yerpeans, you'll notice that our fizzy pop may not necessarily be canned in the UK. Cornershops tend not to care too much as to where their soft drinks come from; continental Europe or even Canada. Different countries = different cans.

That's true... our cornershop regularly stocks iranian coca cola! For some reason, it tastes better... :?

in Australia there is a problem with most soft drink cans, the one exception is SOLO. beer cans of course are fine as the all have the right "dimensions".

the only alternative is to use an AUS .05c however it is far more impressive using a .10c which is why SOLO and beer cans are preferred.

would love to hear from anyone else in AUS who has found soft drink cans suitable, i am in Adelaide most of the time, perhaps other cities/states have alternatives???
