What was really bogus was them dressed as vicars and having Max Ehrmann's "Desiderata" spoken in the background as they left the room. It really as a grab bag of easy belief.

About this week's dollop of goo:

"Documentary series about different types of healers. Mary Malone is a 71-year-old from Bolton who claims she can cure most illnesses through prayer. But she is not just a healer. She also says she can see the future in a glass of water. Filmmaker Jason Massot went with her on her latest healing mission to California. "

In a glass of water? This I have to see!

Their whole BS series was superb, with the possible exception of the one about GM foods which I found to be a bit off course, and they did it all extremely well.

Cool, I missed most of the talking to dead one. I think my favourite was the environment one where they got people to sign to ban water.

Well, Mary Malone was certainly a charismatic performer - not! I have no doubt she realy believes what she's saying and doing but it wasn't very good at all and just seemd like a good excuse to travel to California for a low cost holiday paid for by feepaying local punters keen to get a reading regardless of how good or otherwise it was likely to be. Pass me a glass of water please!

The prayer I can understand. A lot of people do catch religion in dire straights and you could see she was part of a larger system of faith there, but it felt like she wanted something back and went to California to get it. I nearly wet myself laughing at her "predictions". It was priceless when they took the cash and went to Vegas!

The best bit for me was when her old man compared her to Elton John and tiped the gaff that she was an entertainer. I also found them not putting the phone number on screen during her tv interview funny not that she was after money you understand.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.
